Jo Lynn (Joey) Johnson, age 58, died peacefully in Longmont, CO, surrounded by her loving family.

Joey was born on October 27, 1963 in Kansas City, KS. She graduated from Hendersonville High School, in TN, and Western Kentucky University. She worked in sales for most of her career in the hospitality industry primarily with Marriott in Longmont.

Joey was happily married to her perfect match Joel Johnson for 11 years. They were the perfect balance.

Joey was survived by her husband Joel, her daughters, Samantha (Darian) and Jessica, her stepdaughter Amanda Bueschen (Phil), stepson Kyle (Megan), grandchildren, Paxton and Mackenzie Bueschen, parents Cecil and Lillian Ward, sister Tammy (Mike), brother Don (Reta), several loving nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.

Joey loved to have fun and laugh and appreciated her friends and family who would engage in her shenanigans. She loved adventure, camping, and travel. She loved to dance and go to concerts, music festivals, street fairs, and parades, and she loved her Tennessee Titans. She also loved creating through art, painting, and flowers.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 29th at noon at Flanders Park in Longmont, CO. In lieu of lowers, the family requests that donations be made to Roberta’s Legacy. Details can be found at www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com
